FORUM

Mobilising domestic institutional investment and capital.

The Africa Capital Markets Forum (ACMF), supported by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) is an inaugural pan-African convening that brings together the continent’s leading capital market stakeholders.

These include ministries, debt management offices (DMOs), central banks, sovereign wealth funds, stock exchanges, institutional investors, and private sector leaders. The Forum aims to mobilize African institutions, address challenges, and develop actionable roadmaps to drive sustainable economic growth in capital markets.

Africa’s economic prospects hinge on the deepening of its financial systems, the development of local capital markets, particularly through addressing currency risk, and the effective mobilization of domestic institutions and private capital through robust capital market infrastructure.
